Musical Theatre

Julez Hamilton

I first ‘met’ Julez Hamilton over the phone about 7 years ago. Her step-father had given me one of her CD’s to listen to and I had been blown away by the quality and richness of her voice. I was writing songs myself at the time and eventually plucked up the courage to give her a call her to ask if she would record one of my songs. Her bubbly personality and passion for music was unmistakable, even over the phone.

In 2001 Julez graduated from Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts where she studied for three years specialising in Musical Theatre. Since then Julez has gone on to play venues such as The Crazy Coqs, Ronnie Scott’s, The Kensington Hotel and the Troubadour. Julez also performed at the exclusive Bond Night at the Ritz Club with both Daniel Craig and Shirley Bassey in the audience.

Julez has had more than her fair share of ups and downs though. She has survived cancer twice and is now linked with charitable events such as Cancer Research where she performs frequently.

It has to be said that Julez is never idle! She is about to appear in the Erratic Dramatics, production of Othello at the Moors Bar Theatre, Camden, from Thursday 7th August to Sunday 10th August 2014. Don’t miss it! Book online now!

Julez is a dedicated artist and performer. She sings like an angel and plays the piano extremely well, but above all she puts in all the hard work.

Julez did record my song and her vocal was stunning. The thing is that Julez does not need anybody to write songs for her as she is perfectly capable of writing them herself.

Julez’s EP “Obsessions” featuring Love Avoider, Oh Sam! and The Very Thought Of You was released on Monday 26th May 2014 and is now Available on iTunes, Amazon and Spotify, so get downloading now and add Julez Hamilton to your collection, you will not be disappointed.
