AWOL – The Excuses

There is no getting away from it.  I drifted away from Lost Blogs for over a week, the blog dates do not give me an opportunity to fib about the day I actually wrote and posted them.  OK, I could never be classified as a prolific blogger at the best of times, but I do my best.

So I am very pleased to see that so many of you have been checking up on me on a daily basis wondering, I suspect, to see if my Obituary was going to pop up anytime soon

Tessa Barrie, finally dropped of her perch and gone to that penniless Blogdom in the sky

Tessa Barrie breaks all 10 digits whilst slamming the lid of her laptop during a writer’s block strop and for the foreseeable future will be unable to type due to the banana-like size of her fingers.

Well, as you will have realised, I am still alive and my fingers are all intact.  My few days AWOL were actually spent vacillating between “I must finish this bloody book” whilst desperately trying to pluck out the explosive, or should I say the elusive, plot twist from my forever flapping butterfly brain and trying to write an acceptable blog that somebody might like to pay me for.  No success on either score I am afraid, so it’s back to the keyboard.  It’s enough to drive you to drink.  Actually, that is not a bad idea.

Thank you very much for visiting my niche-less blog! If you have time before you leave, would love you to tell us what you think. All the best, Tessa Barrie
