“Don’t tell me how educated you are, tell me how much you have travelled.”
The Prophet Mohammed
I love travelling, even if I’m only travelling from Jersey, Channel Islands to the UK, I still get a buzz by just being at the airport, but it is the long haul flights that I crave. I spend all my money on travel and I have been around! But there are still so many countries on my Bucket List.
I may feel that I have been about a bit but, according to Trip Advisor, I have only explored 11% of the world, so I better get a move on! My paternal grandfather was a worsted spinner by trade but he was a naturalist at heart and spent a great deal of time in the African Bush. He died just after I was born, so I never had a chance to talk to him about his travels, but I am told that he once said that it would take him four lifetimes to study the Flora and Fauna of Africa and that is how I feel about traveling and my ever-lengthening Bucket List.
